Introduction: The ability to communicate correctly is one of the basic skills of social life. Considering the importance of communication skills between dentists and patients and the lack of this study among dental students in Iran, this study aimed to determine the level of clinical communication skills in the last three years of dental students at Guilan University of Medical Sciences, Rasht, Iran. Methods: In this cross-sectional analytical study, students responded to the Persian version of the validated Dental Consultation Communication Checklist (DCCC), the validity and reliability of which have been confirmed. This questionnaire consists of five domains, four of which are related to the student, namely introduction (5 questions), history (12 questions), examination (8 questions), conclusion (3 questions), and one domain is related to the patient (3 questions). The scores are rate using a Likert scale. Accordingly, scores 1 and 7 indicate lowest and highest levels of self-expression, respectively. Data were analyzed using IBM SPSS (version 22.0), and level of significance was set at 0.05. Results: In total, 106 students, including 40 males and 66 females, with a mean age of 25.7±3.3 years, participated in the study. The mean scores of the subjects in the introduction, history, and examination domains were 19.6±3.1, 45±7.0, and 31.8±4.4, respectively. Moreover, in the last two domains (i.e., conclusion and patient) the scores were obtained at 11.9±2.3 and 12.3±2.7, respectively. The mean total score was determined at 120.6±9.7. Moreover,between five different domains and the total score of the questionnaire showed no significant relationship with age, gender, marital status, and academic year. Conclusion: Some dimensions of communication skills in students such as introducing,history,examination and conclusion of  the sessions must be improved. Considering the important role of communication skills in effective interaction with patients, designing and performing Interventional training and practical workshops are necessary to improve communication skills among dental students.

The ethical actions are important because of the priority of the mission goal and their close relationship with social progress and development. Therefore, the purpose of this research is the identification and social analysis of these types of actions among the verses of revelation and it deals with the effect of ethical actions in the production of social capital in the process of progress based on religious teachings and answers these questions based on the Quranic teachings. What impact do ethical actions (behavior) have on the formation of social progress? How do moral actions generate social capital and influence progress (development)? What coordinates, examples and dimensions does this group of actions have? What are the effects and consequences of this group of actions? Those actions that are desirable and progressive in the development of social interactions have been socially studied, analyzed and searched by using the inductive content analysis method. Honesty, trustworthiness and fulfillment of an obligation, altruism (Arabic: إیثار, self-sacrifice), asking forgiveness or istighfār (Arabic: استغفار ʾistiġfār), and forgiving others, kindness, non-violence, chastity and purity, patience and honesty and benevolent actions combined with social supervision have been discussed, which lead to sincerity, togetherness, coherence and expansion of social interactions and emotional relationships far from hatred and warm and emotional relationships and as a result, it causes the production of social capital and its improvement and will lead to the density of actions focused on purpose and excellence that are necessary for progress.

Various studies confirm that the evaluation of environmental quality indicators in sensitive uses such as medical buildings plays an important role in maintaining the health, satisfaction and improvement of patients. The hospital is one of the vital and sensitive parts of the city, which should be given special attention in terms of the conditions related to passive defense in order to manage risks. The main goal of the research is to evaluate the impact of environmental factors on the improvement of the accessibility of the users of treatment spaces in crisis situations with the passive defense approach. The current research is exploratory in nature and descriptive-survey in terms of data collection method. The research plan in the development of tools and preparation of expressions in three stages (1) content analysis of documents; (2) Delphi survey and (3) semiotic analysis are defined. Using questionnaire data and spss26 software and using Friedman's test to check the normality of the data to check the relationship between the variables, a statistical analysis was performed, finally with a plan analysis of two Rasoul Akram and Laleh hospitals in Tehran using Depth software. Map was used to examine the syntactic components and their relationship with the components studied in the research. According to the obtained results, the functional, physical and social indicators in accessibility are related to spatial depth and interconnectedness indicators in the space syntax method, and as a result, they affect the accessibility of space in crisis conditions in hospitals.

Introduction: Alternative punishments of imprisonment, which are called as a new approach of the penal system to fight against the negative consequences of prison, have many effects and consequences that need to be investigated. Therefore, in this study, while examining the types of alternative punishments, the moral and social effects of the implementation of these punishments have been explored. Materials and Methods: The present study was conducted using an analytical-descriptive method. In this study, in order to provide an appropriate answer to the question presented, by referring to the theoretical bases (books) and articles published in the ISC, Magiran, Civilica, SID and Ensani in the years 2011 to 2023 and with the method of extracting the existing legal provisions, the effectiveness of this type of punishment was also criticized in reaching the intended goals. Conclusion: The results of this study show that with the implementation of such punishments, the level of public trust, the growth of morals and social capital in the society will also improve. Therefore, the implementation of these punishments, while reducing the criminal population of prisoners and reforming them, provides better implementation of social justice and improvement of public trust, emotional and financial support for the families of criminals

The present study is the result of a content analysis on the book“,Testing English Language Skills, From Theory to Practice”,written by Farhady, Jafarpour, and Birjandi. This book is one of the most widely-used textbooks selected by language instructors for the testing courses of TEFL, Translation, and English literature majors. Using McDonough, Shaw, and Masuhara’, s (2013) textbook evaluation framework, the authors carried out both internal and external evaluations of the claims made by the authors in the preface of the book. The claims included: using lucid language, comprehensive coverage, a desirable organization of the materials presented and a direct relevance to the Iran’, s context. Furthermore, the textbook was also analyzed based on its physical appearance, content, and methodology. The strengths and weaknesses in each domain were categorized and presented. At the end, some recommendations have been made to the authors, in case of any future editions of the textbook by the authors.

To determine the extent to which the development of communication skills are covered in the middle school Social Studies textbooks, a total of 278 pages of these books were content analyzed using a categorization system of these skills. Results show that the most covered of all skills is the skill of "establishing communication with others", while doing the same with "the opposite sex" was the least covered skill. In different categories certain skills are more covered than the others, indicating an uneven approach. Nevertheless, it can be concluded that the texts are very rich in terms of covering ways of establishing social relationships and preparing the grounds for students' communication development. It is suggested that through in-service training and community meetings the contents be discussed with both teachers and parents in order to help the students better in this area.

Objective (s): Social skills are those behaviors that enable everyone to interact effectively. Developing such skills is one of the most important training objectives in childhood. Inadequate skills lead to weak school performance, isolation, rejection and psychological problems (anxiety, depression).Methods: This study investigated social skills scores in 8 randomly selected male/female orientation schools (grade3) and high-school (grades 1-3) in Karaj, Iran. Social skills were measured using the Gresham & Elliot standard questionnaire (Parents version).Results: In all, 1544 parents of students responded to the questionnaire and the social skills scores were acquired for 1410 students. The mean age of the students was 15.7 (SD=±1.3) years and most were at high school grade (%73.3).Overall the mean score of social skills was 52.3 (SD=±27.8) and 65% of students were equal or less than 50thpercentile of social skills.Statistical. analysis showed significant differences between social skills scores and sex and grade (p. Value =0.002 and 0.04 respectively). Also there was a statistical significant relation between students' school performances with social skills (p. Value < 0.02 and < 0.001).Conclusion: The findings suggest the need to renew the familial and cultural training styles. Using social health promotion approaches in schools would prevent weak school performance and improving cognitive problems.
